SIGNIFICANCE AND DESCRIPTION

The logo has been designed to symbolize and interpret as follows:

The Ritual Dagger/ “Phurba”: Symbolizes authority over evil and a purifier of all negative elements. It symbolizes BAFRA’s authority in exercising its roles and responsibilities.

The radiating Sun and the Silver Moon: The “Phurba” is set against the background of the Sun (yellow) and the Moon (silver). This, in Buddhist iconography symbolizes the auspicious conjunction of the Sun and the Moon, representing wisdom and longevity of all that is auspicious and good.

Similarly, BAFRA’s vigilance must be maintained at all times like the radiance of the Sun and the Moon.

The Symbol of Crop: The wheat symbolizes all the food and agriculture products.

The Green Background: Symbolizes freshness, quality and safety of food and agriculture products, free from all pests and diseases.
